Experience

After working at an international law firm in Tokyo for a number of years, Kengo studied in the United States where he obtained a Master of Laws and qualified as an attorney in New York. He then worked in the Sydney office of a leading Australian law firm for 2 years, during which time he became qualified as a solicitor in New South Wales. While in Sydney he gained experience in advising on international matters involving Japanese companies from outside Japan. After returning to Tokyo, he worked for more than 4 years in the Tokyo office of an international law firm based in London, continuing to advise both Japanese and international clients. He then established Miyamoto International Lawyers (formerly known as Miyamoto Yoshida Lawyers) in April 2009. Kengo provides a wide range of advice to Japanese and international clients conducting business in such sectors as manufacturing, service, transporation or IT both domestically and internationally.
